The first biennial Oxford Global Health and Bioethics International Conference will be held from 28th -29th September at Keble College in Oxford http://www.ndph.ox.ac.uk/upcoming-events/global-health-ethics . The closing date for abstracts and for proposals for funded workshops is the 15th May 2015.
Proposals are invited for presentations, posters or workshop sessions addressing ethical aspects of global health. Conference themes include but are not limited to the following topics:
CollaborationsEngagementsThe geographies of global healthTechnologies in global healthInterventions and research on infectious diseasesMethodological approachesResearch on children/children in research
We are also inviting proposals for a small, additional focused workshop on Wednesday 30th September for approximately 20-25 invited participants. The workshop should complement and develop at least one of the conference themes, providing an opportunity to explore an issue related to Global Health Ethics in greater depth. If you would like to discuss a possible workshop theme or proposal please do get in touch.
