New Workshop: Research Integrity and Congress of Health Sciences - Honduras 17-19th Sept

Global Health Trials and Global Health Reviewers are working alongside UNAH to run a supplementary research ethics and integrity component of the Congress of Health Sciences. Sept 11th: HINARI / CITAVI information resources workshop. Two sessions: 8 am - 12 pm; 1 - 5 pm. Cost USD 4.70 Place: National Medical Library.
Sept 17th: Meeting with different IRBs at national level. Participants by invitation. The meeting will be hosted by PAHO Honduras Representative and will include the participation of a guest speaker: Abog. Roxana Lescano, Scientific Director Medical Naval Center, Lima, Peru.
Sept 18th: Global Health Network course on Research Integrity: Abog. Roxana Lescano, Scientific Director Medical Naval Center
Sept 19th: conferences and oral presentations by pregrade and postgraduate students, and health professionals including physicians and nurses.

These events are one of the most important annual scientific events of the Faculty of Medical Sciences UNAH. This year the events include one workshop (two sessions) on HINARI / CITAVI, two important information resources used for students and faculty. These will take place on September 11 in the National Medical Library. On September 17th there will be a meeting with different IRBs at national level. The meeting will be hosted by PAHO Honduras Representative and will include the participation of two guest speakers: Abog. Roxana Lescano, Scientfiic Director Medical Naval Center, Lima, Peru, and Dr. Sergio Litewka, Director of International Ethics Projects, CITI Program, University of Miami, USA.
On September 18th there will be a course on Research Integrity.

People from all research roles are welcome to attend. Registration is open from the 8th-18th September. To sign up, participants should visit the Treasury Dept at UNAH from Sept 8-17th. On the 18th, the registration will be on site, at the Auditorium Jesus Aguilar Paz, Facultad de Ciencias Quimicas y Farmacia. The cost is L.200 (USD 9.38) for students and L500 (USD 23.47) for others health professionals; coffee breaks and lunch will be provided.
