About: Am a passionate clinical research freak. Currently involved second level masters degree in Vaccinology & Pharmaceutical Clinical Development.Had reasonable clinical experience working in the field of tropical medicine. Very keen in sharing ideas and proferring solutions to global health problems. Graduated with an MBBS degree then practised in Nigeria as a medical officer at a both secondary and tertiary medical centres for a total period of 4 years. i subsequently changed gear and acquired a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Research. That exposed me to the diverse field of ICH-GCP, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Data Management,Medical Writing, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Trial Operations.In between I acquired certification in project management which was a passionate subject to me. I later joined a second level masters degree in May, 2011. Its the only masters of its kind in the world and has the unique feature of grooming professionals for the vaccine clinical trial and pharmaceutical industry as well as national public health expertise.Since I began I have consolidated profoundly my knowledge of scientific basis of vaccine discovery, production, licensure and marketing. I have taken very didactic modules on Public Health Immunisation Programs, Clinical Research Methodology,Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Laboratory Practice, ICH-GCP, Quality and Regulatory Affairs.While involved with these am currently undergoing an internship at various departments of a major Vaccine company having first hand on the job training up to the end of the current year, 2012.
