About: Medical Laboratory Technologist and Biotechnology Professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from Makerere University, Uganda, and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology at the University of Eastern Piedmont (UPO), Italy. Experienced in laboratory medicine, quality management systems, health systems strengthening, research project management, and laboratory accreditation programs. Worked with the Ministry of Health Uganda and leading healthcare and research institutions including the Infectious Diseases Institute, Mulago National Referral Hospital, Makerere University Central Diagnostic Laboratory, Central Public Health Laboratories, Butabika Hospital, Global Health Security Uganda, and other regional health facilities. Skilled in laboratory quality assurance, SLIPTA implementation, ASLM audit preparation and auditing, laboratory accreditation processes, quality improvement initiatives, and research coordination. Passionate about advancing healthcare through biotechnology, innovation, quality systems, and evidence-based public health interventions.
