Electronic Submission of Grant Applications Webinar for Foreign Institutions, Sept 27th,

Notice Number: NOT-OD-12-158

Purpose

This webinar is designed as a primer for foreign applicants wanting more information about the process of submitting a grant application to the NIH. The presentation will be tailored to the specific needs of foreign applicants as it walks attendees through the required registration process, completing the application forms, submitting the application through Grants.gov, to tracking the application's status in NIH's eRA Commons.

Date: Thursday, September 27, 2012 - Live Broadcast
Time: 8:00am-10:00am Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Registration Required! http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-12-158.html

Note: This webinar will be captioned and recorded. The NIH will post the transcript, PowerPoint, and recording on the Foreign Grants website within 4 business days of the event.

Who should participate? This webinar is designed for investigators and administrators from foreign institutions who are responsible for developing and submitting grant applications. Space is limited! The webinar is limited to 1000 log-ins. Interested attendees should register as soon as possible.

To maximize participation and improve communication within our grantee institutions, NIH strongly encourages institutions to promote classroom style viewing whereby groups of viewers at one institution get together in one room to participate. Group viewing is a great way to discuss institutional processes that support the grant submission process within your institution!

Additional Resources: It will be helpful to attendees to have familiarized yourself with the NIH's Applying Electronically web page, as well as the eSubmission page for foreign grantees.
